Foundation of Retired Veterinarian’s Welfare Association was originally created by Late. Hamendra Prasad Gupta , Korra , Hazaribagh , in 1998 - 99 , with a view to perform welfareness among retired veterinarians . Later in the year 2000 – 01 , a Memorandum of Association has been launched and its Registration was done in 2001 – 02 , Regd. No. – 1038/ 2001-02.
Registration of members of R.V.W.A., Bihar , started from 2000 – 01 and in that only one member Late. Dr. Sita Ram Singh ( L.M. ) , Aurangabad district registered . Next year in 2001 – 02 , 114 members , while in 2002 – 03 , 112 members got registered . By the year 2009 , the membership of R.V.W.A., Bihar crossed 500 , and the members felt themselves to have a Telephone Directory , for close communication . A telephone Directory was published in the year – 2011 , to fulfil their necessity . Day by day , their Base-phone numbers has been replaced by Cell-phones , while most of the members changed their residential addresses . Beside these , addition of new members since 2011 to 2020 , requires another modified Telephone Directory . Presently R.V.W.A., Bihar’s Registered members exceed beyond 750 and simultaneously a New Telephone Directory has been launched in 2020 . Though the members getting important informations about the developmental workings and other activities through News Bulletins , publishing time to time since 2000 , presently Quarterly basis .
The first Chairman of this Association was Late. Dr. Krishna Dev Prasad ( from 02.11.1999 to 11.04.2015 ) , Dr. Rajeshwar Prasad Yadav ( from 24.04.2015 to 05.04.2016 ) and after that Dr. Surendra Prasad Sharma ( 06.04.2016 to till date ) , is continuing . In the same way Dr. Biirendra Kumar Sinha ( from 02.11.1999 to 05.04.2016 ) , worked as Secretory . Later , Dr. Biresh Prasad Sinha ( from 06.04.2016 to till date ) , is continuing as Secretory of R.V.W.A., Bihar .
